The best brand of oil paint?
The best brand of oil paint in tubes? Ex Rembrandt, Winsor and Newton Gamblin, Old Holland, Williamsburg, Blick, Utrecht?
Depends on how you like the painting. Some companies add fillers or other substances, even consistency, some add more oil, others less so, in some ultramarine the, for example, is very stringy and difficult to maneuver. Some companies are focused on specific palette – Sennelier the Impressionists, for example. WN is better known and probably around -reliable, Old Holland until recently had a range Authentic 17thC but it has added new lines and synthetic pigments, Williamsburg has a number of unusual land; Blockx is wonderful to paint with. Graham superior product quality in a limited palette. Yarka from Russia and there several brands of China are not recommended because there is still no standards of safety in this country. So, as you can see, there is no "best" mark. But the experience you point to one you prefer.
