Craft supplies organized in 3 easy steps.
Are you looking a room with bits in everywhere, let alone a house with tissue in one room, Painting on another computer, card making supplies in another? Does this sound like you? If so let's see 3-step plan for you and your team organized craft ….
1. Start by gathering all their crafts in a room, I mean everything! If you have the space below, at the same time, put like with like ie Paint Brushes and canvas paintings. Wool and needles, patterns. Card, cut pads, similar beautification and card making all together and so the same with scrap booking supplies and any other vessels to take the pair in. While doing this, take the time to get rid of things you no longer used. If not used it in six months, out it goes. If you have a lot of magazines on crafts you enjoy, keep together well.
2. Now you have all your crafts in one room and organized into piles, it is time to look at what's in the house to tidy them on. If you can afford it, then maybe its time to go and take a look at Target or Walmart for some storage containers. If you're like me and have lots of ornaments little time a lot of little plastic containers is perfect. What you can do is put all like small supplies into these containers and keep them together in a bowl over large (this may be a shoe box). Keep all scrap booking papers together (I have an open file to keep all mines, making it easy to see what has too) The other option is if you have a file you can use a lot of papers, patterns, cutting pads, and even canvases and another for all other bulky materials. The idea is simple, but together and easily accessible. You need not spend much money doing this, you can even cover a few boxes with pretty paper and keep supplies in them.
3. Finally, be sure to keep supplies of crafts where you can access it easily. After all, is really not worth putting these things that are used at least once or twice a week on the top shelf of a storage locker. If you are lucky to have a room that has space then make the most of it. I have a desk in the guest room, and under it I have a plastic box on wheels, with things I use lest often, on top of that I have as my fabrics are easier to achieve. Next to the table with a set of plastic coated baskets, which contain all of my main sources of art in shoe size boxes, and a few other containers I found at home. It really works, because you get to know where everything is. It also means that if you run out of something that is easy to see that there …. you are not running for the particular subject for days and days swearing that he had the other day.
