The Adventures of Abbie

Abbie is now 8 months old and she is all over the place. She has just learned to crawl and she loves pressing all the buttons on remotes and stereos while trying to get into my cigars. We put her on the floor and she rolls around and climbs all over stuff. She’ll grab the couch and pull herself up to a standing position. She can even balance herself for a couple seconds sometimes. Walking isn’t too far away…

We are constantly having to watch what she gets into. We’ve had to put big boxes in front of the stereo so she doesn’t open up the cabinet doors. We’re now starting to baby proof the house.

Keeping up with Abbie is a fulltime job. She makes me tired, and I only see her after work. God bless Sarah for what she does.

The other night we pulled out the video camera and played some older footage of Abbie when she was only a month or two old. It’s absolutely amazing how fast she has grown. So small to so big. So still to so active.
