The Sonogram

Well, the Ancient Chinese Birth Chart was exactly right. We are having a girl.

I told Sarah afterward that for our next child we are going to have to wait till the chart says “Boy” for three months in a row and then get after it. For everyone we have known, the mystical chart has been right.

Overall, I am excited. I was a little disappointed at first, and that’s not really the right word for it. I guess I was almost certain it was going to be a boy because my side of the family is almost completely male.

So this is going to be a whole new world of how to be a daddy to a beautiful little girl. One thing is for certain, she is going to be a cool little girl.

Man, I don’t know what to do about the cigar deal. I was going to save one for me and my boy and on the boy’s 18th birthday, we were going to share my boy’s first cigar. Now that it’s a girl, it changes things…no it doesn’t. I’ve save one for her anyways. Maybe she’ll digg it.
