Back Up

12/05/2005

My hosting server went kaput the other day. And my new design wasn’t in the backup system yet, so that’s why the old design came back up. But I am up and running again now.

So here is the new design for those that haven’t seen it. I thought it was fitting since Colorado is having one of the best early starts to their skiing season that they have ever had. When I lived in Vail that one year, they had one of their worst starts ever, and one of the worst seasons period. Just my luck. But it was still a good time.

I brewed another batch of beer Saturday, a nut brown ale. It went very well. I was able to cool down the wort much quicker this time and pitched the yeast about an hour and fifteen minutes after boiling was done. This time, I re-hydrated the dry yeast before pitching. Hopefully, this will work out better. This morning, the airlock was firing away. It should be ready to drink after Christmas.

I was reading about the Trans Siberian Christmas Light house you showed us, and it turns out that the music is broadcast from an FM transmitter so the neighbors don’t have to hear it over and over. Read about it HERE
